Light-based treatment for sun spots, redness and uneven skin tone.
IPL (intense pulsed light) and BBL (broad band light) photo facials use pulses of light to improve skin texture, tone and clarity. They are used for sun spots, age spots, melasma, rosacea (redness), broken capillaries and early signs of aging.
Right after treatment, brown spots darken and skin may look slightly pink for a few hours to a few days. Over one to two weeks the darkened spots flake off or fade, leaving smoother, more even skin.
Light also stimulates collagen and elastin. Most clients book a series of treatments about 4 to 5 weeks apart. Results vary with skin concerns, age, environment and hormones.
